Okay, lets get started.
Vison: What you've done here is certainly difficult, not in drawing skills, but art skills. Making a static and neutral pose such as this pop and be dynamic is a true test of an artist. You've passed with flying colours.
Originality: Here's where this falls down. Any DBZ enthusiast can see this is just Vegitos pose for turning super sayain when he first fought Super Buu. But, rather than just copy or attempt to ape the pose, you've improved it with his expression showing more of his power than in the manga or anime. Still, well done.
Technique: This is excellent! The highlights and shading have very effectively evoked the feeling of the show and character without the aura needing to be present and the character looks about ready to burst off the screen and tear a crater down the middle of the planet. The overall professional and polished look pushes this beyond scenes from DBZ itself. That takes talent.
Impact: Again impact is excellent. Very strong pose, bold colours, very powerful feel to the whole piece and it never seems to lose effect no matter how many times you look at it.
Overall Critique: This is very easily a 4.5/5, only being brought down by a small lack in creativity with the pose Vegito could have been in, but probably still one of my favorite DBZ fanarts ever. Good Job!
Thank you very much! i like critiques!
No problem. Good work deserves praise. Besides, it didn't really look like anyone else was gonna say anything, so I thought a more professional piece dissection was in order. Looking back though, I forgot to mention the flow of motion given to his clothing that shows him powering up. That probably would have brought vision up a bit.
